Forms Of Solution

Concentrated Solution Concentrated solution is a solution formed when a large quantity of solute dissolves in in a small quantity of solvent. That is large quantity of solute + small quantity of solvent gives a concentratef solution. There are two types of concentrated solutions. These are Saturated and Super Saturated Solution. Saturated Solution A saturated solution is a solution that cannot dissolve any more added solute at a given temperature in a given volume of solvent. Super Saturated  Solution:  A super saturated solution is a highly concentrated solution that contains more solute than it can hold, at a given temperature in a given volume of solvent. Dilute Solution It is a solution formed when a large quantity of solvent dissolves a small quantity of solute. This is large quantity of solvent + small quantity of solute gives a dilute solution. Unsaturated Solution This is a solution that can dissolve any additional solute at a given temperature

Solution

A solution is formed from the uniform (homogeneous) mixture of a solute and a solvent.  It is a uniform (homogeneous) mixture of two or more substances For example , a uniform mixture of salt and water forms a salt solution. The salt is called solute and the water is known as a solvent.    Read also: Solute And Solvent FORMS OF SOLUTION Concentrated solution Saturated Solution and Super Saturated Solution Dilute Solution and Unsaturated Solution

Solute And Solvent

SOLUTE: A solute is the substance that dissolves in a solvent to form a solution . The solute can be solid, liquid or gas in nature. Read also: International Organisations Ghana corporates With A soluble solute is a substance that dissolves in a solvent. For example, sugar and potassium permanganate dissolve in water.  Any substance that dissolves in water is said to be soluble in water . Salt, sugar alcohol, carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide and hydrogen chloride are soluble in water. An insoluble solute does not dissolve in a given solvent. for example, kerosene is insoluble in water.   Read also: High blood pressure SOLVENT: A solvent is the substance that dissolves a solute to form a solution . For example, water dissolves sugar and salt. Because water dissolves most substances, it is sometimes referred to as a universal solvent. Alcohol is a solvent which dissolves pigments such as chlorophyll. Turpentine is also a solvent which dissolves oil paint. Read

Hypertension or High blood pressure( Diseases of the circulatory system)

They can affect your viens arteries, blood flow and blood pressure. Here is a brief look at some of them. 1. Hypertension or high blood pressure 2. Cancer of the heart 3. Stroke 4. Coronary thrombosis or heart attack 5. Angina 6. Arteriosclerosis 7. Varicose veins . 8. Hemorrhoid(piles) 9. Hepatitis 10. Blood cancer or leukaemia Read also : Education and productivity HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE Blood pressure is the force with which the heart pumps blood through the arteries and so allows  the blood to reach the various parts of the . Without blood pressure, the blood will not flow sufficiently to be able to supply the body with necessary oxygen and food. High blood pressure or hypertension refers to the condition whereby a person's blood pressure is found to be above the normal level. Figures above 160/100 millimetres of mercur
