Solution


     A solution is formed from the uniform (homogeneous) mixture of a solute and a solvent.

 It is a uniform (homogeneous) mixture of two or more substances

For example , a uniform mixture of salt and water forms a salt solution.

The salt is called solute and the water is known as a solvent.

SOLUTE: A solute is the substance that dissolves in a solvent to form a solution . The solute can be solid, liquid or gas in nature.
