                               Parallel Culture. Parallel culture refers to the process whereby two culturally ways of doing thing things are adopted while only one can suffice.                              Examples of parallel culture  Outdooring and naming ceremony: During outdooring and naming ceremonies, the traditional and Christian rites are preformed for the baby. Citizenship in Ghana

                       What is Citizenship? Citizenship simply means membership of a country.                       Who is a citizen? A citizen is a person who by birth, registration, adoption or naturalization is a legal member of a country.                 How Citizenship is acquired in Ghana. Citizenship by birth: An individual born in Ghana, whose parents are from Ghana or outside the country becomes a citizen of Ghana once he or she is born in Ghana. Citizenship by law of foundling of place: Any child below the age of 7 years, found in any part of Ghana is presumed to be a citizen of Ghana. Citizenship by adoption: Any child below the age of 16, adopted by a Ghanaian couple or parent becomes a citizen of Ghana even if his or her biological parents are not from country.                               The Ghana national flag. The Ghana national flag is a national symbol which stands for the hopes, aspirations, spirit and souls of Ghanaians. The Ghana national flag was designed by Mrs. Theodosia Salomeh Okoh, a Ghanaian to replace the flag of Britain i.e the Union Jack. The Ghana national flag are of the colours red, yellow and green horizontal strips with a five pointed black star in the middle of the yellow strip. Ghana my country

                                                              Ghana Ghana, a country located in West Africa with the population of 27 million inhabitants and total land size of about 238,444sqkm.Ghana lies between latitude four and half degrees north and eleven and half degrees north and is currently governed by president Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffu Addo who has indeed change the economy of Ghana. Ghana gained independence on the 6th of March 1957 and is currently inhabited by people from various ethnic groups namely the Akans, Guans, Ewes, Gas and the Gonjas. The unification of the various ethnic groups gave birth to Ghana. Accra is the current capital of Ghana where the president resides. Other important towns include Kumasi, Tamale, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Wa, Bolgatanga and Sunyani.                                                   Various ethnic groups in Ghana and their capital Akans - Kumasi Gas - Accra Ewes - Ho Gonjas - Dagbon Guans( Dagombas, sisalas, nanumbers, frafras)
